Recently, we shared two new Pharrell songs for the Despicable Me 3 soundtrack, "Yellow Light" and "There's Something Special." Now, three more songs from the film hit the Internet.

One of them is called "Hug Me," an '80s styled tune, complete with heavy synths and punk rock vocals. There's also the catchy "Doowit," which could be all over the radio this summer.

"We've been down together for so long, solid and strong, lights went out / Wipe your memory that you forgot about / When you were down and out," sings Pharrell.

On "Chuck Berry," he picks up the tempo and delivers a high energy cut that shows how versatile he is. Pharrell was recently asked why his music seems to be so perfect for the Despicable Me franchise.

"I don't know," he said. "I try to do it and make sure that you can discern my gratitude for the opportunity ... minus the gravity of like expectation or like conventional common sense. I just try to do it because it feels right and try to make sense of it later."
