As most of us know, Pharrell wears many hats, both literally and figuratively. He's a producer for a slew of big artists, a judge on the reality competition show 'The Voice' and somehow finds time to release his own music.

And if you didn't think that was enough, the in-demand renaissance guy just earned a board of director's seat at the Apollo Theater, according to the NY Daily News. The 'G I R L' creator was selected with five other new people, and will join 32 other members who already have a seat.

Jonelle Procope, the Apollo Theater president, says the mission for the theater falls directly in line with Pharrell's artistic vision and his person scope, and she's thrilled to have him aboard.

"Pharrelll represents the DNA of the Apollo board," she said. "If the Apollo were an artist it would be Pharrell.

The Virginia Beach, Va., native has yet to make a statement of his own and no word if his new job will start immediately.
