On July 5 the sixth annual Brooklyn Hip-Hop Festival will be kicking off with a once-in-a-lifetime pairing of hip-hop legends. The organizers of the festival have just announced that revered producers Pete Rock, DJ Premier and Large Professor will be sharing the stage for the first time on U.S. soil this coming Monday.

While the actual hip-hop festival will take place on Saturday, July 10, Premo, Pete Rock and Large Pro will be headlining the BHF Show and Prove Super Bowl, where six acts will compete for an opening slot at the fest. The production legends have only performed together once before ... in Japan. They are responsible for crafting many of rap's most respected tracks, working with everyone from the Notorious B.I.G., Nas and Jay-Z to Slick Rick, KRS-One and Rakim.

The Brooklyn Hip-Hop Festival goes down from July 5-10, featuring performances by De La Soul, Black Moon, Smif-N-Wessun, Money Making Jam Boys (Black Thought, Dice Raw and Truck North), Masta Ace and many more. For more info, click here.
