Patti LaBelle is all the talk of social media after her sweet potato pies sold out in Walmart stores nationwide over the last month. Now the 71-year-old legendary singer is opening up about her newfound success and a possible collaboration with Fetty Wap on Power 105's The Breakfast Club.

The Grammy Award winner -- and Charlemagne tha God's crush -- is responsible for hits like "Lady Marmalade" and "New Attitude" but it's her pies that has everyone talking this holiday season. YouTube vlogger James Wright enthusiastically reviewed the pies in a video that went viral, which helped LaBelle's pies sell out. She's even come under fire for failing to give Wright the proper credit because his hilarious clip helped increase the attention on her sweets.

But, unfortunately, even the soul singer can't tell you how to get a pie since they're gone -- unless you're going to be sitting at her table on Thanksgiving day. "Miss Patti can't find a potato to make that pie," she said. "I don't know boo boo."

LaBelle, who said she's been cooking for about 60 years, said the recipe is 100% hers -- but she's not giving away what makes the pie so good. "It's the butter and the secret ingredient," she said. "It's a lot to do with the crust -- the crust melts in your mouth and you can eat it straight out the box."

The R&B icon also revealed she would love to work with some young artists -- if it's in line with her brand. And one in particular has caught her attention.

"Fetty Wap, I love that boy. With the one eye," she said. "I love him, he gangsta. I love his look. I would [work with him] in a heartbeat."

She continued to talk about grown folk issues like dealing with menopause. LaBelle also disclosed that she is diabetic. "I have diabetes but diabetes does not have me," she stated. She's also happy to take photos with fans at any time -- especially since she said she's "never not looking good."

All in all, Patti LaBelle is happy to be where she is. "I'm blessed to still be here and that pie is icing on the cake."
