Papoose might have finally redeemed himself with his recent freestyle over Migos' 'Versace' instrumental.

The Zaytoven-produced beat doesn't sound like one that Papoose would excel on at first listen. The self-proclaimed "King of New York" has been at his worst when trying to deliver a southern sound. However, despite the beat, Pap decides to use a rapid-fire, precise flow on the beat, and the result is a dope verse.

Papoose drops some gems in this freestyle. "See you would acknowledge Versace but you won't acknowledge the poverty/ simple and plain these n----s is lame/ they tricking your brain it's all tricknology." Giving a nod to Drake's verse that came out on the remix, Pap closes the verse by saying "I'm gonna give Remy Martin a baby and no one can stop me." Considering that Papoose is married to the currently incarcerated rapper, that's pretty much a true statement.

This is how a freestyle should be. Hopefully Papoose can capitalize off this momentum and return to form after being ridiculed for his surprise appearance on Hot 97's Summer Jam stage.
