No matter how many times they've been around the world, you can never separate OutKast from their roots in Atlanta. The hip-hop duo is returning to their hometown by putting on a special show for the ATL in September.

Partnering with Atlanta's V103 (WVEE FM), Creative Loafing, Rival Entertainment and Bowery Presents, the rappers will curate and headline the show as well as invite a few special guests, which will be revealed at a later date. Entitled '#ATLast,' the gig will take place in Centennial Olympic Park on Sept. 2.

"Coming from Atlanta gave us the freedom to be whatever we ever wanted to be because no one was paying attention. Now that everyone is, we want to say thank you," Andre 3000 said in a statement.

Big Boi continued the sentiment. "It's only right that we give the hometown what we've been giving the rest of the world, Atliens in ATL, homecoming! Festival Killers!” he said.

OutKast has been on the festival circuit and headlining shows around the globe to celebrate their 20th anniversary as a group. After finishing up Governors Ball last weekend, Big Boi and Andre 3000 are taking their show to the Orange Warsaw Festival in Poland, the Firefly Music Festival in Dover, Del., followed by the BET Experience in Los Angeles.

Ticket sales for the homecoming show will be sold beginning June 18 at 10AM EST via Ticketmaster. For more updates about this show and the special guests on the bill, visit outkastatlast.com.
