Oprah used to openly campaign against hip-hop and all its bad influences on her daytime talk show, but it's quite possible that Jay-Z changed her mind last year. Ever since the superstar Brooklyn MC took Big O to his old neighborhood and then made an appearance on 'The Oprah Winfrey Show' with some hilarious rap lessons, Oprah seems to have opened up to the genre. Last night was another big step, as Oprah hung out with N.E.R.D., Diddy, Usher and plenty of other celebrities at the Met Costume Institute Gala after party.

The Met Gala is one of the biggest fashion events of the year and the after party usually turns into the kind of A-List soiree that most people can only dream about attending. At the invitation of Anna Wintour, Vogue's famed editor-in-chief, N.E.R.D. performed at the event, apparently ripping through three tracks and making the crowd go wild. This morning (May 5), an amazing picture surfaced of Pharrell singing with his left arm around a joyous Oprah, who appears to be having the time of her life and most definitely jamming with the music.

Taking place at New York City's Mark Hotel, Oprah reportedly watched and danced as Wintour got pulled into the DJ booth by Diddy and Pharrell. Diddy also performed 'It's All About the Benjamins' to the live crowd. We guess our invitation got lost in mail.
