OmarionThe BoomBox spent a hectic day with Omarion in New York last month, while the California native did press for his new album, 'Ollusion.' But the R&B singer can only expect things to get busier since he signed on to be a judge on MTV's hit show, 'America's Best Dance Crew.' Omarion will join JC Chasez and Lil Mama as the third judge on the show's upcoming fifth season, beginning at the end of January. He will replace hip-hop choreographer Shane Sparks, who lost his spot on 'ABDC' when he was arrested in December and charged with several counts of child molestation.

Omarion, who has had plenty of experience with group choreography from his run with former boy band B2K, said that he is looking forward to his new post. "I'm so excited to be a judge on MTV's 'America's Best Dance Crew," Omarion said this week. "Dancing and performing is what I do and being a judge on this show will allow me to give creative feedback to the newest and hottest dancers on the rise." Liz Gateley, senior vice president of series development for MTV said she was thrilled to have Omarion join the 'ABDC' team. "He is an accomplished dancer, artist and actor who knows what makes a good dance crew performance," Gateley said. "We are very excited for him to join Lil Mama and JC Chasez as our third judge."

Season Five of 'America's Best Dance Crew' premieres Jan. 28, at 10PM on MTV. Omarion's third studio album, 'Ollusion,' hit stores on Jan. 12.
