Odd Future's Frank Ocean had some choice words for the Los Angeles Police Department on Friday morning (April 29) after being hauled off to jail for reasons that are still unknown.

The L.A.-based singer-songwriter made news of his arrest known through a series of tweets. "just got out of jail. would like to go on the record saying..f--- the police. f--- LAPD to be specific [sic]," Ocean wrote.

The 'Nostalgia, Ultra' creator did not go into further details on what led to his arrest, but instead continued his rant against the LAPD with, "f--- a cop, non-stop. frank will never speak to a cop again in his natural life. i have no respect for police. i swear if i weren't sane in mind i'd throw a f---in molotov in a cop car right now. cuh had napoleon complex. and seemed really sad that he was on that lame ass bike patrol."

"Now im finna listen to blackenedwhite and play a videogame with copkiller imagery in it," he added, before thanking his manager Kelly Clancy for posting his bail. "what's your #f---thepolice experience? somebody bring the LA riots back."

Ocean, a New Orleans native, independently released his debut album 'Nostalgia, Ultra' in February via his Tumblr site, despite having a major label deal with Def Jam. In addition to penning previous hits for artists such as John Legend and Justin Bieber, Ocean has been clocking in studio time with both Beyonce and Nas to write songs for their upcoming albums.
