Odd Future Wolf Gang Kill Them All, often abbreviated to OFWGKTA, or simply Odd Future, are making 2011 their break out year. In recent weeks members of the West Coast hip-hop collective made their television debut on 'Late Night With Jimmy Fallon,' and also filmed their own Funny or Die skit. While Odd Future ride the hype, their side projects are also receiving some love.

Odd Future members Hodgy Beats & Left Brain formed MellowHype in 2009 and have released three albums, the most recent being 'Blackenedwhite,' which has guest features from the entire Odd Future gang. Originally released via the collective's website this past October, the critically lauded album will be re-released in the physical format -- as a CD and vinyl -- via Fat Possum Records this summer after being fine-tuned with bonus material.

Other members are also keeping busy, most notably Tyler, the Creator who recently received a cosign from Kanye West via Twitter for his 'Yonkers' music video. The song is off the 19-year-old's sophomore solo album 'Goblin,' out this spring.

Odd Future is slowly becoming Generation I's answer to the Wu-Tang Clan. Their nasty lyrics and horror-core delivery was reprised on 'Radical' last year, the followup to their 2008 debut 'The Odd Future Tape.' The not-so-mellow-hype behind the collective will take the nine members to Austin, Texas later this month, where they will perform at the mtvU Woodie Awards, as well as the SXSW music festival.
