ODB’s Widow Calls for Boycott of Unofficial Merchandise
The widow of the Ol' Dirty Bastard is asking the late rapper's fans to boycott clothing featuring ODB's likeness. Icelene Jones is fighting to shut down companies making a quick buck off clothing with the Wu-Tang Clan's humorously profane fallen soldier's image.
Jones is releasing an official clothing line, which she believes ODB would have wanted. Jones is also working towards getting ODB's son Bar-Son Jones rap career off the ground. ODB collapsed in a recording studio on November 13, 2004 -- two days before his 36th birthday -- and died shortly thereafter.
