Queens, NY, rapper Noreaga AKA N.O.R.E. announced his "100 Miles & Running" challenge in a new vlog on Friday. The challenge runs from Sept. 1 through Sept. 30, during which time Nore will run a distance of 100 miles. Fans can log in to Nore's My Nike profile to track his progress and challenge the CNN rapper.

At one point, Nore was up to 310 lbs. due to being "depressed from what I did with the Reggaeton." The rapper has been consistently vlogging about his diet progress and exercise regimen for the past year.

"You can still do what you want to do, you can eat cheerios all day if you don't really want to change up your diet or whatever," Nore said of the challenge. "if you run 100 miles in 30 days you can basically eat whatever you want, but you waking up every day, getting healthy."

This is not the first time Nike has sponsored a rapper in a running challenge. In 2003, Sean "Diddy" Combs ran the New York Marathon in order to raise funds for several charities, and was also sponsored by Nike, along with McDonald's, Foot Locker, MTV and several others.
