Nipsey Hussle Is a Soulful Gangsta on ‘Ocean Views’

Nipsey Hussle is still delivering quality songs as part of his "Marathon Mondays" series. This week, Neighborhood Nip is back with the head-nodding track, "Oceans Views."

On the song, Nip plays his signature role of soulful gangsta over live drumming, a moody bass groove and atmospheric keys.

"I don't know about hell / I don't know about heaven / All I know is bout' right know this lifestyle is interesting / I'm just down in my section I just write these confessions/ N----s die to get life around me I guess that I'm an exception, blessings," he raps.

Nipsey then adds on the hook, "All I see is ocean views / Small circle it's a chosen few / A wrote it down then I follow through/ I brought a pound  then we rolled a few / I talk s--- but she know it's true."

"Ocean Views," comes a week after Nip dropped "Thug Life," featuring Young Thug. Last month, Nip also made headlines when he teamed up with YG on the anti-Donald Trump anthem, "FDT." According to YG the song prompted the Feds to reach out to him.

Nip's official debut The Victory Lap is expected to drop later this year. He's also rumored to be collaborating with YG on a project called Two of America's Most Wanted.

Either way with the heat he's been dropping for Marathon Mondays clearly Nipsey Hussle is up to something.
