Based on build alone, the Nike Kobe Venomenon 5 is a fun shoe to look at but when you give it the right colorway, things are downright magical. Enter the Joker colorway, which has been a running theme throughout Kobe Bryant's catalog and has finally landed atop the new model.

The pair benefits very well from the sinister style, which features a black build along with concord and volt accents. One of the best parts of the sneaker is the clear ice outsole that extends upwards toward the ankle to serve as a heel cap as well. Hopefully the rubber used doesn’t yellow as easily as other clear bottoms. If it does start to turn, the volt used could potentially offset your upset.

The Nike Kobe Venomenon 5 Joker has popped up at ATAF and is retailing for $133. Hopefully they’ll land at a local retailer soon unless they play the evil adversary theme a little too close and don’t arrive in the states at all.
