Hov has been spending a lot of time spending on Basquiats and with his presence at Art Basel hopefully discovering new artists in the process like Bryan Espiritu. The young all-around creative just recently unveiled his latest work that pits two of his favorite brands against each other in the name of creating something totally original.

The NIKE vs KRINK: Air Max Series combines two of his favorite things and results in a set of hand drawn silhouettes that drip down their disassembled-then-reconstructed Nike box canvases to form very loose images that infer three popular Nike Air Max models. The Nike Air Max 1, Nike AIr Max 90 and Nike Air Max 95 are included in the series and of their hand drawn quality Bryan says that "although the shape wasn’t true to form, the idea was clear."

Legends League is a Toronto based company that was founded in 2007 and has become a movement unto itself with more than a few successful apparel drops under it's belt that have sold out in a matter of minutes. As founder of the company Bryan has never strayed too far from the art that inspires him to push past personal obstacles and continues to create things like this NIKE vs KRINK series for himself and as an inspiration for others.
