The return of basketball season not only means that your favorite players will be taking the court but they’ll also be lacing up their signature sneakers. When it comes to kicks, LeBron James is one of the hottest names in the sneaker industry so of course all eyes are going to be on his feet come Oct. 27 when the Cleveland Cavaliers take on the Chicago Bulls. With the anticipation building, it's only right that we give a sneak peek of his upcoming Nike release as our Sneaker of the Week.

The Nike LeBron 13 isn’t a jarring departure from the last model released and it showcases most of the same technology along with the same overall aesthetic. Back again is the Hexagonal Zoom Air unit as well as the Foamposite ankle support. In terms of overall style, it’s very much a basketball shoe. If you don’t want to walk around looking like a pick-up game can break out at any minute, you’ll probably want to steer clear of these. That’s not to say it’s an ugly shoe at all because it's quite the looker with a minimally invasive build that buries the tech beneath its woven upper.

LeBron has been spotted wearing the sneaker at Nike’s Elite Academy in Santa Monica, Calif. and most recently a mural was unveiled in Manila that depicted him rocking them. There is no telling when you can rock these but expect Nike to drop official release details sometime very soon.
