We didn't have to wait long at all to see what Nike had up their sleeves for Kevin Durant's seventh signature sneaker and with just a few weeks left until their release we are getting more than just a sneak peek.

The Nike KD 7 doesn't abandon the sensibilities of its predecessor at all but uses it as a solid base to employ new technology. The sneaker sports a new 'Zone 3' build which basically describes the sneakers mesh upper, midfoot strap and hyperposite heel with each one playing a specific role in helping improve movement and stability. As it stands now the first colorway out the gate will be the White / Obsidian and University Red version which will have to hold us over until August when other colorways will drop. The sneakers are set to retail at $150 when they do finally reach retailers.

The Nike KD 6 was a hit and if this one splashes just as big still remains to be seen but we suspect that Nike wont drop the ball on the MVP this go round.
