Nike Air Trainer 1 Jerry Rice

Jerry Rice gets a tribute fit for a wide receiver king with this latest Nike release. The brand chose to pay homage to both his career and childhood with this Nike Air Trainer 1 colorway and it's a really complete creation.

The nod to his time with the San Francisco 49ers is overly apparent as metallic gold leather combines with red and white tumbled leather to give the Faithful their propers. Jerry's history is on display here as well with a brick-laden insole and trowel stitched into the heel. This immortalizes how the legend developed his hands by helping his bricklaying dad catch tossed bricks on jobs. That sounds like the stuff that true titans are made of.

Look for these to drop on May 1 at Shoe Palace and expect a Nike Store launch shortly after.
