There’s a lot of creativity to be found in subtraction and Nike has tapped this well of inspiration for their latest release. They’ve taken a silhouette from the 80’s and stripped it down to make it feel like a millennial model.

The Nike Air Odyssey is a slim runner already but with this newly deconstructed model, Nike flipped it in the most glorious way imaginable.

The upper becomes a few suede panels strung together leaving the stitches to imply the lines and taking the padding with it however comfort isn’t sacrificed in the process. The sneaker is cast in tan and gum or black and both modify the midsole a bit by taking the grey toe and heel counter and coloring it white.

You can cop the Nike Air Odyssey Deconstructed kicks at U.K. retailer Size? for $136.
