Nike Air Max ‘Kabutomushi’ Pack

Nike tends to find inspiration in some interesting places and this latest crop of Air Max is no different. The shoes take a style cue from the powerful Japanese rhinoceros beetle for a very eye-catching new look.

The brand dug into their own archives to revisit 2008's Kabutomushi theme and came up with three looks that include a Nike Lunar Max 90, Nike Lunar Max 1 and Nike Air Max 95. Each shoe is treated with silver safari print and a mix of vibrant oranges and blues that mimic the feel of the insect's exoskeleton. The use of colorblocking conveys the message of strength and beauty really well and leaves behind three must-have models.
