Some coloways are often affiliated with the people who popularized them. For example, the Red Octobers (or simply tonal red) belongs to Kanye West or the elephant print and volt belong to DJ Clark Kent. While Nike's latest colorway flip of the Air Max 1 doesn’t quite live up to Clark's classic 112 Pack, it's close enough to generate those same feelings.

Inspired by the Air Max 95 Neon, the Nike Air Max 1 Neon is driven by its sparse use of neon as a highlight on the outsole and branding while a black suede upper meets a grey leather mudguard and midsole. This simple yet effective color blocking is effective but we can’t help but notice the nod to Clark Kent’s colorways involved in the overall design.

Look for these to drop at Nike retailers real soon. These kicks will certainly have people staring at your feet while you’re wearing them.
