The Nike Air Huarache has really shined this year but this time around, the brand decides to take that phrase more literally than figuratively. In launching the latest iteration of the sandal-based runner, they’ve given the upper a pearly pop that really serves to perk things up.

It didn’t take much convincing at all to make us fall for the Nike Air Huarache Utility but much like a peacock flashing its tail feathers, this pair really vied for our attention. The iridescent panel wraps around the base of the upper and gives way to hits of 3M on the perforation as well as pops of fiery red. The rest of the revamped sneaker is covered in black neoprene and mesh with an outsole that gets in on the tonal act as well.

The shoe that had once taken us by storm has reached full on tsunami levels with this colorway and much like a weatherman, we can’t accurately predict when they’ll reach land. However, you can expect the Nike Air Huarache Utility to drop before the year ends.
