Based on build alone, the Nike Air Huarache works better in the summertime than any other season of the year. Nike has made the shoe even more seasonal with a slight upgrade in materials, which finds the model even more breathable than before.

The Nike Air Huarache BR is a swift improvement on the materials that we normaly see used on the model in several different areas. For starters, the toe box is cast in a lightweight tape material and a breathable mesh backing replaces the majority of the neoprene sockliner. These changes make the shoe lighter as well as more breathable but a rubberized ankle strap is replaced by a stretchy fabric to reduce the weight even further while a retooled outsole gives it a more streamlined look.

These popped up on Sneaker Shouts Twitter feed sans a release date, which is rather unfortunate. We’ll just have to sit around and wait for an official word from Nike.
