Nike Air Force 1 Preserved Icons

When it comes to celebratory silhouettes, the obvious route is cool but as with most things, the road less traveled can be much more rewarding. Nike has decided to go with the latter for their latest drop, which is certain to give your Independence Day a boost in the color department.

The Nike Air Force 1 Preserved Icons colorway is an interesting model to say the least. It features a heat-activated upper that changes colors to mimic the evolving appearance of the Statue of Liberty. A white base contrasts this color-shifting upper with a star-riddled insole finishing the look off.

There isn't a release date set for these but with the holiday weekend coming up, we're pretty sure that they'll be popping up at select Nike retailers very soon.
