You can’t really own a color but colorways are very much proprietary, especially when blocked a certain way. This latest Nike Air Force 1, for instance, is immediately recognizable for it’s use of an Air Jordan 1-specific colorway and it pulls the theme off perfectly.

The Shadow colorway is simply black and grey evenly dispersed over the course of the Air Jordan 1 upper; for the Air Force 1’s conversion to the colorway one slight variation has been made. Grey nubuck is replaced by grey tumbled leather -- but everything else is perfectly mapped. The models have a very similar shape, so it’s no wonder that the Shadow color scheme ends up fitting like a glove.

The Nike Air Force 1 Low Shadow is available now at select Nike retailers including ATAF.
