To match the Nike Air Foamposite Pro PRM Fire/Black, which hits shelves next Monday (Dec. 23), Nike is dropping a new pair of Air Force 1s called the Asteroid.Trying to take things back to 2002 when the Air Force 1 was at the top of every shoe lovers' shopping list, Nike is rolling out a new set of the classic Nelly-endorsed kicks just in time to put them under the Christmas tree.

Like the Fire/Black Foamposites, the Asteroid will have similar purple, black, red, yellow and orange color stamps. The new AF1 will come in an all-black colorway that is accented with the various pigments along the midsole and Swoosh.

The new color scheme adds a unique twist to the once sought after low top.

Retailing at $97, the Air Force 1 Asteroid can be pre-ordered from kinetics.com.
