Camo is deeply embedded in the world of fashion but the truly sartorially aware person can differentiate between the various types of camouflage easily. Nigel Cabourn, for instance, took to Converse and created a Converse Chuck Taylor 70s Ox with the feel of his home military force by way of his signature hand screened camouflage pattern and Italian Ventile fabric.

This pair actually goes deeper than design as Ventile is still employed by the British Royal Air Force due to it's ability to extend pilots survival time by tenfold upon emergency ejection into icy cold waters. That's pretty good news for your feet as well if you are the type who rocks Chuck's year round and the mellow olive and grey colorway has you covered when it comes to being fashion forward.

These are set to release on Nov. 7 in Europe only to select retailers -- which makes sense considering the origins of their overall design. Look for them at spots like The Army Gym in London’s Covent Garden which is Nigel's new flagship store.
