Rapper Nicki Minaj has been so busy these days that she hasn't found the time to record any tracks for her debut album. According to the Queens, New York native, besides dropping her single 'Massive Attack,' Minaj decided that she wanted to start from scratch but has been slow to the draw. "You know the stuff that I've done -- it doesn't really reflect me anymore, so I want to have an entirely new body of work," she said in an interview.

Minaj who has appeared on tracks for the likes of Usher, Mariah Carey and Ludacris to name a few, also revealed that prior to rapping she had other entertainment aspirations. "At first, I fell in love with acting," she said. "And I kind of gave up on the singing, because well, I'm just not that good at it. And then I realized that rapping was something that I thought I could really master."

Despite her ever mounting buzz, the Sean Garrett-produced 'Massive Attack' received a lukewarm reception peaking at No. 65 on the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop songs charts, perhaps further fueling her desire for a clean start. Either way, her legions of "Barbies" should be on the lookout for her debut album to drop sometime later this year.
