Nicki Minaj to Perform ‘Anaconda’ at 2014 MTV Video Music Awards

In case you haven't heard, this year's MTV Video Music Awards' line of performers is pretty stacked. Usher is opening, Ariana Grande is performing and Beyonce is hitting the stage as well (she's receiving the Vanguard Award, so she has to be there this time). Nicki Minaj is yet another superstar who will perform.

Minaj will perform 'Anaconda' at the VMAs, according to E! News. The single currently sits at No. 19 on the Billboard Hot 100, but the main source of its publicity comes from its infamous cover artwork. The booty-overload of the upcoming video should raise its profile even higher by the time the VMAs airs on Aug. 24.

The announcement isn't exciting just because of the name; Minaj is known to be a pretty good performer. Her performances at this year's Summer Jam and the BET Awards were highlights at the respective events.
