Nicki Minaj Teases ‘Pink Friday’ With 7-Minute Sampler

The two most anticipated hip-hop albums of the quarter are about to emerge with Kanye West's 'My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy' and Nicki Minaj's 'Pink Friday.' Both will be available to fans on Nov. 22, but Yeezy's record has already sprung a leak and has been floating around the Internet since Nov. 9.

Fans already knew what to expect on that one because of West's weekly MP3 series and video for 'Runaway,' which teased most of the tracks on his record. Minaj, on the other hand, has been overwhelmingly silent on her progress. She has released a few singles, but many are wondering what exactly she has come up with in the studio. Well, to build even more anticipation, Nicki has released a 7-minute teaser of 'Pink Friday.'

With all the songs mashed together, it's still difficult to get a clear idea of the record's content, but fans complaining about Minaj's lack of solo rap tracks have a reason to get excited. Her singles 'Your Love' and follow-ups 'Check It Out' and 'Right Thru Me' appear to be the poppiest material on the album. On other previews, Nicki is rapping far more than singing and pulling out the sort of one-liners that originally won her a fanbase.

The clear standout line, "If I had a dick, I would pull it out and piss on 'em," seems to be the biggest indication yet that 'Pink Friday' will avoid the overbearing pop content that those hardliner hip-hop fans were worried about.
