Nicki Minaj Confirmed to Star in E! Reality TV ‘Specials,’ Not Entire Series

J. Graylock,

Although rumors have been swirling about Nicki Minaj starring in a reality show it looks like most estimates have been grossly over-calculated. While Minaj has been confirmed as a judge on “American Idol” for the upcoming season, it was unclear whether or not the “Starships” singer would also be starring in her own reality show. reports E! has confirmed that Minaj will be starring in three reality specials, not an entire show. The specials will air in November and feature an in-depth look into the rapper’s life, and of course, never-before-seen footage.

Back in 2010, Minaj let MTV get up close and personal with her for the “My Time Now” documentary. For now, the main footage fans will get of the Young Money rhymer is next to Simon Cowell and Mariah Carey on “American Idol” since no sneak peeks of the reality show have been released yet.

Stay tuned to the tube to see more of Nicki’s antics.
