Nicki Minaj: New Year’s Eve Will Be Spent With Dick Clark

In a few weeks, every New Year's Eve party worth attending will pump songs by Nicki Minaj, but only one -- the annual ABC soiree hosted by Dick Clark -- will feature the Harajuku Barbie herself.

Minaj has officially signed on for 'Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve with Ryan Seacrest,' joining a lineup that includes Gym Class Heroes, will.i.am and LMFAO, Rap-Up.com reports.

As far as bookings go, this one was a no-brainer. Not only did the 'Pink Friday' creator have a fantastic 2011, but she also makes music that's champagne bubbly and engineered for dancing. You could do worse than ending your year to the strains of 'Super Bass,' a song beloved by 8-year-old YouTube sensations and Victoria's Secret models alike.

The show airs at 8PM EST on Sat. Dec. 31 on ABC.
