Young Money rapper Nick Minaj has finally addressed rumors that she has met with Simon Cowell regarding the U.S. version of his TV show 'The X Factor.'

Speaking as her alter ego Martha, Minaj told MTV that she is unable to discuss her rumored appearance as a panelist on the new show, but did reveal that she is "absolutely in love" with the former 'American Idol' judge, and that her life has been forever changed by meeting him.

"I can't talk about that, but I love Simon very dearly," Minaj explained in a dandy British accent. "He's such an amazing man. I had the pleasure of meeting him and my life will never be the same, darling. I told him that. I was absolutely in love with him prior to meeting him. And now that I've met him, it's like I dream about him every night."

Cowell sparked the rumors when he revealed that he is a "big fan" of Minaj, but was vague about whether she'll be a fellow judge on the American version of his popular UK show.

"We spoke to Nicki actually about a lot of projects," Cowell said. "It wasn't specifically about this, but we were just very interested to meet her. I'm a big fan of hers. So I don't know if it's gonna be this show or something in the future, but it was definitely somebody I wanted to meet."

Whether Minaj or another high-profile celebrity signs on, Cowell claims that the show's panel will be the "best judging panel so far," featuring a diverse assortment of artists and industry leaders, including confirmed judge L.A. Reid.

"I know the show is gonna be dope 'cause Simon is dope," Nicki concluded, reverting to her native Queens accent. "And I wish them luck."

Auditions for 'The X Factor' began in Los Angeles on March 26.
