Nicki Minaj has never had much of an issue sharing the spotlight, although she could steal it all on her own. For the re-release of her second LP, Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded -- The Re-Up, Minaj called on Atlanta-based chanteuse Ciara to lace one of the newer tracks, "I'm Legit."

"My fans had been asking me to work with her for a long time so I thought it'd be kinda cute," Minaj tells The BoomBox. "I've always thought Ciara was so dope."

Not only does Young Money's first lady admit that the One Woman Army creator was perfect for the song, she gives her quite an endorsement. "Let's face it," the 29-year-old starts, matter-of-factly, "She's probably one of the best dancers that we've had in our generation, you know what I mean. So that alone just makes her very iconic."

According to Minaj, she reached out to the "Got Me Good" singer, unsure that she would be willing to jump on the song. Ciara ended up smashing the hook on "I'm Legit" just in time to meet the staunch deadline for The Re-Up.

"When I heard how she did the hook of the record... ," Minaj says, still awestruck, "It's like she nailed it so crazy and we had been listening to the reference track. We were afraid that whoever would end up singing it wouldn't really sing it exactly how we wanted it to sound, but she nailed it times 10."

The double disc album will arrive during Thanksgiving week, just in time for the holidays. The Re-Up features tracks from the original release of Roman Reloaded in addition to eight new songs and several fresh guest appearances. Lil Wayne, Parker, Tyga, Cassie and Thomas Brinx all contribute to the revamped project. If all that music wasn't enough, The Re-Up will also be packaged with a 90-minute DVD showcasing behind-the-scenes footage from the MC's tours.

Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded -- The Re-Up is available Nov. 19.
