Well, this is embarrassing. For the past week, R&B singer Eric Bellinger has been claiming that he co-produced Nicki Minaj's upcoming single 'Anaconda,' but the Queen Barbz says that's not true.

In an interview with MTV News, the tunesmith praised the Young Money rapper for her performance on the song, which is set to hit iTunes on Aug. 4.

“She went crazy,” he told MTV. “Turn up. That’s it; just turn up. The realest turn up possible.”

He continued to go into detail about being in the studio with hitmakers Da Internz, who called him up to help create the track.

Minaj went on Twitter today (July 29) and shattered Bellinger's claims, calling him "thirsty" for seeking producer's credit. According to the rapper, Polow da Don and Da Internz are the sole creators of the song.

"There are only 2 producers on #Anaconda ~ Polow Da Don & Da Internz. No one else should be out here doing interviews about it. #ThirstyAss," tweeted Minaj (spotted by XXLMag), which she deleted.

Bellinger followed Minaj's response by posting a statement on Instagram page to his fans, which can be read below. While the singer makes no mention of Minaj or the song in question, he insists that he was creatively involved in the recording process of the track and didn't mislead anyone.

Is Nicki Minaj telling the truth or is Eric Bellinger? Tell us your thoughts in the comments below.
