Nicki Minaj's 11 million Twitter followers were thrown for a loop yesterday (April 15), when the hip-pop superstar deleted her account. The reasons aren't exactly clear, but as Rap-Up.com reports, her break with the social-networking site could stem from a recent spate of negative timeline comments, as well as Nicki's beef with a fansite that leaked bits of her new album, Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded.

"Like seriously, its but so much a person can take," Nicki tweeted, just before going offline. "Good fucking bye."

Her move was not totally unexpected, as the Queens MC hinted on Saturday that she might bid Twitter adieu.

"And that's exactly why I'm paying the barbz DUST right now!" she tweeted. "And deleting my twitter. Smdh – don't cry 4 me argentina."

For some, Minaj's disappearing act left a cavernous void on the Internet, and within minutes, #NickiComeBack became a trending topic. Luckily, Aceshowbiz.com points out, the Harajuku Barbie has 30 days to reactivate her username, so fans might not have to go without her cryptic musings for long.
