Nicki Minaj hugged it out and made up with Taylor Swift at the 2015 MTV Video Music Awards, but it looked like she was about to start a rumble with Miley Cyrus during her acceptance speech for Best Hip-Hop Video.

Accepting the win for "Anaconda," she gracefully walked onstage (with the help of actress Rebel Wilson) and got on the mic to thank her fans for their support. She also made sure to talk about how grateful she is for getting the chance to pursue her dreams. However, things went sour when she called out host Miley.

"Now, back to this bitch that had a lot to say about me in the press the other day. Miley what's good?" she said turning her attention toward the VMA host.

If you're wondering where all the hostility is coming from, the rapper's outburst is in reference to Miley's comments in a recent interview with the New York Times in which the controversial pop star referred to Nicki as "not too kind."

Despite Nicki's fighting words, Miley didn't let the comment faze her. "It was no big deal! I persevered!"

She also added, "We're all in this industry, we've both done interviews, we know how they manipulate s---."

Miley then congratulated The Pinkprint creator on her win and continued on with her hosting duties. Despite Miley being literally all smiles, it looks like Nicki was still flustered and mad about the situation.

We'll have to see how this beef unfolds. So keep a look out at their Twitter accounts in the coming days or stay tuned here for the updates on this brewing situation.
