Well, the day is finally here. After much hype, Lil Wayne's 'Tha Carter III' hits stores today. The album, which was due six months ago, but delayed and revamped due to leaks, is being hailed as the young emcee's finest album to date.

Bolstered by the No. 1 single 'Lollipop' and Jay-Z's guest spot on the potentially classic track 'Mr. Carter.' While critics are split on whether or not the highly-anticipated release lives up to its hype, one thing's for sure, 'The Carter III' follows all the rules. Weezy makes sure to snag T-Pain and Kanye West, which usually ensures platinum sales.
