Los Angeles based rap duo the New Boyz want the haters to know that they're here to stay. The youngsters are prepping the release of the first single 'Break My Bank' off their second album 'Too Cool to Care,' which will hit stores later this year, and were recently nominated for the Best Group BET award. Even though some may see them as a passing fad -- they became just as popular for sporting their trademark skinny jeans as they did for their summer 2009 smash single 'You're a Jerk' -- the New Boyz -- Dominic "Legacy" Thomas and Earl "Ben J" Benjamin -- have every intention of proving that their music is about having fun, and should not be judged by the clothes they wear.

"We just do us," Ben J told The BoomBox. "We never came in with the skinnies and saying, 'Yeah, this is what we do, everybody gotta do this," added Legacy. "This is just our style we was always rocking that some people took it too personal, but it is what it is."

The rappers are credited for introducing the dance move known as "jerking" to the mainstream by mobilizing their fan base through social media tools like Myspace and Aol.'s Instant Messenger. They released their debut 'Skinny Jeans and a Mic' last September and have been touring the country ever since. "Life is good. We just wanna thank God first for everything that's happening to us is dope," Legacy added.
