Artists have been fans of New Balance sneakers long before  A Tribe Called Quest's Phife Dawg sported them to avoid a narrow path and the brand is out to pay homage to their loyalists. The Sound and Stage Pack features three silhouettes and each one highlights a different aspect of a performance venue.

The New Balance MT580 is given an upper lined with black, navy and teal suede in an effort to match the feel of the stage lighting while the New Balance 999's gray suede build is meant to represent the stage itself. The New Balance 1600 is dressed in black leather and suede to mimic the feel of a microphone and while each colorway plays its part, all three are vital to a successful show. It’s a subtly-themed drop but powerful nonetheless, especially side by side.

You can consider this look at the New Balance Sound and Stage Pack as a preview but the show starts on Oct. 1 at a sneaker shop near you.
