The New Balance Napes Pack is a breathtaking homage to the hair-raising sport that only a few souls are brave enough to try.

The New Balance 577 is chosen to represent the Napes Needle and in turn, the sneaker is given a serious materials upgrade to play up the feel of the sport. Ripstop replaces mesh to ramp up durability while a textured synthetic material and rubber do the same to bring along a very rugged vibe. Rope laces and triangular accents on the midsole really drive the point home as well, making this model a shoe-in for people trying to achieve the feel of mountaineering without risking their life.
