New Balance x Capsule ‘Canadian Tuxedo’ (Summer 2014)

In the past few years, several sneaker companies have thrown denim on their most popular models and New Balance is following suit with their latest collaboration.

The Canadian folks at Capsule have taken New Balance's MT580 model and give it the full denim treatment. Dubbed 'Canadian Tuxedo,' the sneaker represents a style term used to describe an outfit consisting of a denim jacket and denim jeans. Once considered a fashion faux pas, the double denim look is now acceptable by sartorial experts.

Not too many details was released about this sneaker but judging by the photo, it will undoubtedly be wrapped in full denim, including the "N" logo. There's a white rubber outsole and two-toned denim laces as well.

The New Balance x Capsule 'Canadian Tuxedo' will be available on Aug. 8 at Capsule in Toronto, Canada. No word on a U.S. release date as of yet.
