New Balance has been providing cutting edge running shoes for quite some time now and they still continue to innovate. This time they plan on giving runners an even further customized experience through the wonders of 3D printing.

New Balance has teamed up with 3D Systems for the process that combines elastomeric powder and DuraForm Flex TPU to make the midsoles. All of that high tech jargon doesn’t mean much if the shoes aren’t comfortable and stylish and from the looks of things these should have got all of the bases covered. For now, things are kept basic with a black upper but we’re pretty sure that come next year the company will be doing some interesting things with the sneaker’s upper and outsole.

The rollout of this product will take place next year at select New Balance retail stores in April of 2016. However, you can get a preview of the product in January at the Consumer Electronics Show.
