Nas’s custody battle with Kelis appears to be getting ugly.

According to TMZ, the Queens rap legend submitted court documents seeking more time with his son. In the motion, Nas is reportedly describing the mother of his 8-year-old son, Knight Jones, as “hostile” when it comes to sharing custody with their child.

As we previously reported, Nas is trying to establish a sound visitation agreement with Kelis. The veteran rapper claims that he has tried to “work cooperatively with the singer-entertainment over the years,” but she has been coordinating his custodial visits with their son whenever it’s convenient for her.

Nas is asking a judge for Knight on the first, third and fifth weekend of each month from Friday after school through Monday morning.

Nas and Kelis were married for five years before they divorced in 2010. Since then the couple have been embroiled in several legal disputes, including their heated custody battle for their son.

We hope that Nas and Kelis can reached an amicable schedule for the sake of their son.
