N.W.A’s ‘Straight Outta Compton’ Album Cover Gets an Artsy Spin [PHOTOS]

The success of the N.W.A biopic Straight Outta Compton has sparked a renewed interest in the group’s history and music. The film has even boosted the sales of Dr. Dre’s swan song LP, Compton, as well as the classic album that shares the same name with the critically acclaimed film.

Now that the Straight Outta Compton movie is reaching full tilt, popular music blog Noisey tapped their favorite U.K. illustrators to re-imagine the iconic album from the "World’s Most Dangerous Group." The six designers remixed the original cover in several unique and colorful ways. One artist went with a hallucinogenic design, while another illustrator wanted to create a less intimidating artwork than the original LP artwork.
