My Style: LeToya Luckett On Switching Up Her Look [PHOTOS]

LeToya Luckett is back with her new album Back 2 Life and with a new album comes a new look. Over the years Luckett has switched up her hair and personal style so many times it's hard to keep track. Whether she's rocking a cowgirl hat with denim shorts, and a tank to hang out with friends in Texas. Or wearing a gown to the Wearable Art Gala, Luckett is not afraid to be bold and try new things.

We caught up with Luckett who shared how she decides what her next hairstyle is going to be and she gave us a peek into her closet by sharing some of her must-have items.

You change up your hair a lot, how do you find inspiration for new hairstyles?

I think it’s just different moments in my life and whenever I feel like I'm in a different space I think a hairstyle should go with that. That’s what makes me do it. Sometimes I want it long or sometimes I'll just say, I want it all off its just hair it will grow back–most of the times. I want to see how a different color will look with my complexion I’ll just try it. It’s about being brave and taking that chance if it doesn't work out I’m going to get a unit until my hair grows back.

What are some must-have items in your closet?

I have a denim jacket that I personalized, I have these pendants and brooches on my jacket that I put on. One of them is my grandmother’s, it’s an emerald little diamond brooch, it’s my favorite thing. My favorite pair of jeans by Rag and Bone, and I must have some thigh high boots.
