Murs and ¡MAYDAY! are showing their love for all the b-boys and b-girls out there, letting them know hip-hop hasn't forgotten about them. The Strange Music label mates put together a vintage b-boy cypher for the music video to their single 'Beast Out the Box.'

The California MC and his Florida cohorts let the b-boys take center stage here as their appearance is limited to some quick cuts throughout the video. 'Beast Out the Box' truly plays out like a tribute to one of the pillars of hip-hop culture.

The frenetic and funky backdrop provided by ¡MAYDAY! makes this record a tailor-made anthem for a breaking battle. Murs, Bernz and Wrekonize trade some quick bars on the track and perfectly capture the vibe of a high energy cypher.

"Here comes the rattling, here comes the pain / Here comes the handling, don't fear the rain / Cause it was bound to change / Couldn't hold it all in so I broke the chain," Wrekonize raps.

"These boys are shattering these barricades / B-boys are traveling to outer space / We had to make our own lane / Drive without headlights, turn a road unpaved," Bernz responds.

Murs caps it off with, "In comes the chattering into my brain / It doesn’t matter they call me insane / What they think it’s a game / Going full beast mode for the money and fame."

'Beast Out the Box' appears on the Murs & ¡MAYDAY! collaboration album '¡Mursday!' which is available now via Strange Music.
