Mr. Hudson Too Busy to Date Rihanna and Play Trombone

Pop/R&B star Rihanna and Kanye West protege Mr. Hudson’s rumored “secret date” at the London premiere of Quentin Tarantino’s ‘Inglourious Basterds’ has finally been confirmed.

Rihanna refused to be seen with the British singer on the red carpet, or announce the name of her plus-one at the event, but a source close to her told a British paper “They have been meeting up secretly, and on the red carpet they refused to be pictured together. Once RiRi and Mr Hudson were inside the cinema though they were stuck together like glue and then they both slipped out the door at the end to go for a meal at Cipriani.”

Though neither camp gave comment on their night on the town, Rihanna appears to have continued playing the field, havin since been linked to several rappers and celebrities, including Drake and NBA star Andrew Bynum.

Hudson (born Ben Hudson) has since discussed their date with the NY Daily News, explaining that their chemistry was only natural, “We went to the movies. She’s single, I’m single…”

Though Hudson confirmed their secret rendezvous, he claims his career takes priority over potential relationships, Rihanna or otherwise. “I could say to a girl, ‘We’re gonna do something this weekend,’ and at the last minute I’ll be like, ‘Lil Wayne wants me to play trombone on his new track and I have to go do that,’” the singer explained.
