Mos Def recently popped up alongside Raekwon, Swizz Beatz and Charlie Wilson on Kanye West's G.O.O.D. Friday freebie 'Lord, Lord, Lord,' but that's neither the first nor the last time the two will work together. According to XXL, the Brooklyn native has become the latest signee to join Yeezy's G.O.O.D. Music imprint, through which he will most likely release his next album.

G.O.O.D. Music, which boasts a roster including Common, John Legend, Kid Cudi, Mr. Hudson, Big Sean, GLC, Consequence and Cyhi Da Prynce, most recently saw the Clipse join the team. The news of Mos Def's signing was nonchalantly spilled in the October cover feature on West in XXL. "Just as Kanye returned to his roots to scoop up Common, he recently recruited his buddy Brooklyn rapper/singer/actor Mos Def into the GOOD Music fold," the article reads.

Mos Def and Kanye already have a history of working with one another. 'Ye enlisted Mos to spit a verse on the track 'Two Words,' included on his 2004 debut 'The College Dropout.' The two reunited for 'Drunk and Hot Girls' featured on Kanye's 2007 release 'Graduation.'
