Missy Elliott has signed with powerhouse talent agency WME, according to Billboard. This is the first time she has ever signed with an agency so it looks like the iconic hip-hop star is planning big moves in entertainment.

Fans are waiting with bated breath for Missy’s comeback album, which is still a work in progress. It been 12 years since the Virginia rhymer has released a studio project; her last effort was 2005’s The Cookbook. Nevertheless, Missy holds the crown of being the best-selling female rapper in Nielsen history with over 30 million records sold in the U.S. alone.

Missy has been making noise recently with a couple of songs. The "Work It" rapper just released "I’m Better (Remix)" featuring Eve, Lil Kim and Trina and can be heard on Amine's remix for "RedMercedes."

Last month, Missy delivered an electrifying show at the 2017 FYF Festival. Fans caught wind of Beyonce and her sister, Solange, dancing backstage during Missy’s rendition of her latest single, “I’m Better.” Also spotted in the crowd was Janet Jackson and Katy Perry. Even rapper Tyler, the Creator was reportedly in the crowd enjoying the performance.
